# Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs portfolio committee chairperson, Zweli Mkhize, says non-compliance with the law cannot be condoned to spare communities from the impact of poor financial management. This comes as the National Treasury has frozen July grant payments to 69 municipalities over financial mismanagement and governance failures.
