# The City of Cape Town says its planned green infrastructure investment in the Diep/Sand- and Zeekoe catchments could result in net benefits of up to 257-million-rand over 25-years. The Nature-Based Infrastructure Global Resource Centre assessed the metro’s planned nature-based infrastructure investment in the catchments. Mayoral committee member for Water and Sanitation, Zahid Badroodien, says nature-based and hybrid infrastructure plans include wetland rehabilitation, invasive plant species removal, and canal naturalisation:
