# Canoeing: Both Jenna Nisbet and Hank McGregor are going into the final day of the 2025 Berg River Canoe Marathon with big leads over their closest rivals. The 47-year-old McGregor won Friday’s 75-kilometre-long stage from Bridgetown to Zoutkloof and now leads second-place Robert Herreveld by more than 10 minutes. In the women’s race, Jenna Nisbet just needs to keep Nix Birkett in sight to add a third title to those she won in 2013 and 2022. The final stage starts at Zoutkloof and ends 57 kilometres further in Velddrif.
