The city’s spokesperson, Lindela Mashigo says the plant experienced a mechanical breakdown at its raw water abstraction works section on Wednesday, affecting the plant’s ability to abstract and treat raw water. He says Bronkhorstspruit, Zithobeni and Ekandustria reservoirs have improved:
