# The Morebeng Regional Court has sentenced a 43-year-old grandmother from Botlokwa to ten years in prison for severely assaulting her four-year-old grandson for bedwetting. State advocate Andrew Kgatla highlighted the lasting trauma inflicted. NPA’s Mashudu Malabi-Dzhangi welcomed the sentence and reaffirmed a zero-tolerance approach to child abuse:
