# Bontebok National Park in the Western Cape has reopened to the public after suffering major damage in floods in May. The floods damaged chalets, the picnic site and the main access road, with repairs expected to cost about 12-million-rand. Repairs to the remaining facilities and trails are still underway. Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment minister David Maynier says the park is recovering well and has encouraged visitors to return:
