# An assistant driver aboard the Limpopo repatriation bus that crashed near Musina says the driver fell asleep at the wheel before the vehicle veered off the N1 and overturned. He claims a police officer had earlier woken the driver to complete passenger registration, after which he continued the journey while exhausted. The crash killed the driver and injured 11 passengers. Speaking to EWN, the assistant driver says the bus was on its second trip from South Africa to Malawi.
