Asset Forfeiture Unit secures R13-million mining equipment in Northern Cape [SOUND]

# The Asset Forfeiture Unit has secured a preservation order worth over 13-million-rand to seize illegal mining equipment used around Kleinsee and Port Nolloth in the Northern Cape. The High Court in Kimberley granted the order for confiscated tools, generators, jackhammers, and drills that were found on restricted De Beers properties. The National Prosecuting Authority’s Mojalefa Senokoatsane, says the aim is to halt further illegal mining criminalty:
