DA Federal Council chairperson, Helen Zille, has drawn criticism after sidestepping questions about Israel’s atrocities in Gaza. In an interview with Newzroom Afrika, Zille avoided taking a clear stand on whether Israel’s actions in Gaza amounted to genocide. The ANC says it stands vindicated in government’s pursuit of the genocide case against Israel in the International Court of Justice, and against the DA, who stand for promoting crimes against humanity and genocide.
