# An eleven-year-old boy and his father are expected to appear in Thabazimbi Magistrate’s Court in Limpopo today in connection with the murder of a farmworker. Preliminary investigations revealed that the boy was allegedly shooting at guinea fowl on a farm in Thabazimbi over the weekend, when he accidentally discharged the firearm, fatally wounding the 30-year-old farmworker. Police say the boy’s father was arrested and charged with negligent handling of a firearm. Limpopo Police Commissioner, Thembi Hadebe, has warned parents about their responsibility to keep guns away from children.
