# The Afrika Mayibuye Movement has urged the African Union to reject the results of the recent elections in Cameroon and the Ivory Coast. Afrika Mayibuye says the votes were unfair and helped keep old leaders in power. The movement’s Sydney Baloyi believes Cameroon’s president, Paul Biya, re-elected at 92-years-old and the Ivory Coast’s 83-year-old Alassane Ouattara represent outdated power structures backed by France. Baloyi calls on the AU to ensure future elections are free and fair:
