# AfriForum has accused Transport minister Barbara Creecy of misleading the public after confirming that payment for temporary driver’s licences still apply despite her promise to scrap it. The Road Traffic Management Corporation confirmed the 72-rand fee remains in place, contradicting Creecy’s parliamentary statements. AfriForum’s Louis Boshoff says the delay amounts to dishonesty and is considering legal action to enforce the decision:
