# Advocates for Transformation has condemned threats and intimidation targeting its national chairperson, Advocate Myron Dewrance, Madlanga Commission Commissioner Advocate Sandile Khumalo, their families and associates. AFT says the threats, sent from multiple cellphone numbers, allegedly include sexual violence against women and claims about the individuals’ movements and locations. AFT says the threats may be linked to disciplinary proceedings involving a Johannesburg Society of Advocates member accused of serious professional misconduct, in which Khumalo had professional responsibilities. AFT says its inquiries remain preliminary and protection to those targeted.
