# ActionSA has revealed, through official Parliamentary replies from Health minister Aaron Motsoaledi, that government continues to permit the looting of state coffers in the wake of the Tembisa Hospital corruption scandal. ActionSA spokesperson, Matthew George says the Special Investigating Unit’s interim report revealed that over 2-billion-rand was siphoned from Tembisa Hospital through 207 service providers across more than four-thousand-500 purchase orders. He says South Africa’s procurement system remains wide open to exploitation by fly-by-night companies:
