# Acting National Police Commissioner, Puleng Dimpane, says they are determined that South Africa must never again experience the levels of destruction, fear and instability witnessed during the July 2021 unrest. This comes as police are preparing for planned anti-foreign demonstrations on 30 June. Dimpane met with the Private Security Industry yesterday to strengthen relations in support of public safety, crime prevention, and the maintenance of law and order. She says the private security industry is a critical partner in maintaining stability:
