# The Airports Company of South Africa has been granted leave to appeal a ruling that blocked it from procuring baggage screening equipment and terminating the operations of Aviation Co-ordination Services. The South Gauteng High Court found there were reasonable prospects for a different judgment. Meanwhile, ACSA secured approval to replace backup equipment at key airports. The company says it is reviewing its legal options but remains committed to improving aviation services.
