# Eskom is expected to return at least three-thousand-903-megawatts of generation capacity to the grid by evening peak today and throughout the week to stabilise electricity supply in the country. During the financial year-to-date, the energy availability factor has improved to 63.05-percent, up from 57.67-percent over the same period last year. Eskom spokesperson, Daphne Mokwena says since 16 May 2025, South Africa has recorded 388 consecutive days without interruptions to electricity supply, reflecting 100-percent system availability in meeting electricity demand:
