Eskom announces average unplanned outages declined in a week [SOUND]

# Eskom has announced that average unplanned outages declined to nine-thousand-252-megawatts in a week. Eskom spokesperson, Daphne Mowena says this is a significant reduction of five-thousand-655-megawatss from the 14-thousand-907-megawatts recorded over the same period last year, equivalent to more than the nominal capacity of Kusile Power Station. She says this improvement is also reflected in the unplanned capacity loss factor, which improved to 19.57-percent from 30.76-percent in the corresponding period last year, representing a reduction of 11.19-percent:
