# The speaker of KwaZulu-Natal’s legislature, Nontembeko Boyce, says preparations are underway to swear in a new National Freedom Party representative following the expulsion of Mbali Shinga. The NFP intends replacing Shinga with party leader Ivan Barnes after her removal for misconduct and gross insubordination.
