# The High Court in Johannesburg has struck Major-General Feroz Khan’s urgent application off the roll after electronic devices seized during a police raid were handed to the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry. Khan had sought the return of cellphones and laptops, arguing they contained sensitive intelligence information linked to undercover operations and national security. The Crime Intelligence officer warned that unrestricted access to the devices could endanger lives and compromise investigations. Khan is also challenging the legality of the warrantless search and seizure.
