# Eskom has appointed Junaid Munshi as Group Executive for its Distribution division starting on Monday. Eskom spokesperson Daphne Mokwena says Munshi brings more than 30 years of engineering, commercial and telecommunications leadership experience across Africa. He previously served as Chief Commercial Officer at Cable and Wireless Seychelles and held senior roles at Cell C and Vodacom. She says the appointment supports Eskom’s strategy to strengthen competition, customer service and renewable energy integration:
