COSATU welcomes Joburg budget focus on workers and inner city renewal

# The Congress of South African Trade Unions Johannesburg has welcomed key aspects of the City of Johannesburg’s 2026/27 budget, including the Politically Facilitated Agreement finding aimed at addressing salary disparities among municipal workers. The federation says fair worker compensation must be balanced with fiscal discipline.
