# The DA says dedicated courts are needed to deal with environmental crime cases in the Western Cape. The party claims the scale of biodiversity crime requires a specialised approach in the justice system to secure stronger prosecutions. More than two-million poached indigenous plants and millions of seeds have been seized since 2018.
