The 34-year-old forward, who has scored 79 goals for his country in 128 appearances since 2010, believes he deserves a place in coach Carlo Ancelotti’s squad after shrugging off serious injuries. He has last played for Brazil in 2023, whereafter a knee operation kept him out for a year. Ancelotti earlier said Neymar must be fully fit and playing well to be considered.
