# AfriForum says the recent theft of military weapons at the Lyttelton Military Base in Pretoria has once again highlighted the failure of state institutions to secure weapons. At least three R4 rifles and a grenade launcher were stolen when criminals gained entrance to the premises by cutting a hole in the perimeter fence.
