DA demands an independent forensic audit of SAA’s financials [SOUND]

# The DA has expressed concern at the state of governance at South African Airways. Last week, the Auditor-General warned that the state-owned airline could face closure within the next 12 months if mounting financial and operational pressures are not addressed. SAA received 38-billion-rand from the fiscus between 2018 and 2024. The DA’s Chris Hunsinger says he has written to Minister of Transport, Barbara Creecy, to demand the immediate appointment of an independent forensic audit of SAA’s financials:
