# The DA in the Western Cape has welcomed the arrival of an additional 50-thousand foot-and-mouth disease vaccine doses. Since the launch of the FMD response plan, the province has reached a significant milestone with 156-thousand-470 vaccinations successfully administered. The DA’s Noko Masipa says this latest shipment is about maintaining the province’s defensive line against the disease, at a time when national logistics remain unpredictable:
