ActionSA calls for criminal action in Emfuleni R16-million fleet procurement case

# ActionSA has accused Gauteng’s MEC for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Jacob Mamabolo, of enabling a cover-up in the Emfuleni local municipality’s 16-million-rand fleet procurement scandal. The party’s Mongezi Ntsebenzo says the municipality allegedly paid for 17 vehicles but received only six, with one later disappearing. It criticises a copy-paste response from the municipal manager and says internal processes are being used to delay accountability. He says ActionSA is demanding urgent oversight action, a criminal investigation, and recovery of misappropriated public funds.
