Thousands of flights were cancelled since Israel and America attacked Iran on Saturday. Australia’s F1 chief, Travis Auld, says many drivers, engineers, team principals and other team members had been caught up in the disruption, but they could reshuffle flights and believe everyone will arrive on time.
More motorsport news: South Africa’s MotoGP star, Brad Binder, says he is fairly satisfied with how his season has started. The Red Bull KTM rider finished sixth in the Thailand Grand Prix sprint race on Saturday and seventh in Sunday’s main race. Aprilia’s Marco Bezzecchi won the season opener, while world champion Ducati rider Marc Marquez retired from the race with five laps remaining due to a damaged wheel. Australia clinched the ODI series 3-0 with a 185-run victory in the final match in Hobart. Healey’s 158 came from just 98 balls, while Beth Mooney contributed an unbeaten 106. Australia ended on a mammoth 409 for seven and then dismissed India for 224.

This comes after Real Madrid forward Vinícius Júnior accused Benfica’s Gianluca Prestianni of racially abusing him in their Champions League playoff first leg, with Prestianni covering his mouth during the alleged incident. UEFA is investigating the incident. Infantino told Sky News they are serious about fighting racism in the sport:
