# Global Airways says it followed all protocols before landing at OR Tambo International Airport in Gauteng with 153 Palestinians seeking refugee status in South Africa. The group was stranded for 12-hours yesterday after being denied entry for not having exit stamps on their passports or visas. They were allowed to disembark after Gift of the Givers committed to accommodate them. Global Airways says as per South African immigration laws, it had shared the list of passengers and was never informed they would be deemed inadmissible.
# The Office of the Chief Justice says the interim gag order imposed on Open Secrets was a standard and proportionate measure to preserve the status quo until all arguments can be properly heard and considered. The order stems from a case brought by the armoured vehicle manufacturer, Integrated Convoy Protection. Campaign for Free Expression’s Nicole Fritz says Chief Justice Mandisa Maya must issue guidance to judicial officials, reaffirming the presumption of open justice and cautioning against the harmful effects of gagging orders:

The mission’s lead scientist, Rob Lillis, says the twin Escapade orbiters will spend a year near Earth before using a gravity assist to reach Mars in 2027, where they will study the planet’s upper atmosphere and magnetic fields:
