# Deputy minister of Basic Education, Reginah Mhaule, will, in partnership with UNESCO, lead the department’s national anti-bullying commemoration event in Pretoria today. The event is to mark UNESCO International Day Against Violence and Bullying at School, Including Cyberbullying. The department’s spokesperson, Terence Khala, says the annual observance highlights the global call to protect young people from all forms of school-related violence, including the growing risks associated with online harassment and technology-facilitated abuse:
