ActionSA welcomes job gains, warns of ongoing joblessness crisis

# ActionSA has welcomed the creation of 248-thousand jobs between July and September, 2025, as reported in Statistics South Africa’s latest labour survey. However, spokesperson Alan Beesley cautioned that 12-million South Africans remain unemployed, calling the gains a recovery from earlier losses rather than true progress. Beesley said while unemployment dropped to 31.9-percent, the economy remains too weak to absorb workers. He urged government to focus on sustainable job creation and economic inclusion.
