# The Public Servants Association has confirmed Revenue Service commissioner Edward Kieswetter’s withdrawal of the work-from-home initiative, insisting that employees return to office. PSA says while SARS did not have an official work-from-home policy, the initiative was allowed in terms of SARS’s Employee Value Proposition. It’s an umbrella of benefits and values offered to employees by the commissioner in exchange for their skills, capabilities and experience. However, Kieswetter has now withdrawn the policy and all staff have to return to office full-time from the first of January.
