# The National Prosecuting Authority has confirmed that Tshiyamo Moramaga, one of the cousins killed in Mamelodi East, was the girlfriend of murder accused Tebogo Mnisi. Tshiyamo and Boleseng Moramaga, were executed, while their friend Desmond Semang, who was with the cousins at the tavern, survived. Tshiyamo reportedly sent a WhatsApp message for help that night. Mnisi abandoned bail today. The NPA’s Lumka Mahanjana says gender-based violence and femicide remain pressing concerns:
