He joins head coach Justin Langer, fast-bowling coach Bharat Arun and spin-bowling coach Carl Crowe. Williamson scored over two-thousand-500 runs in 93 T20s for New Zealand. He believes Lucknow, which ended seventh out of the ten IPL teams this year, has a hugely talented squad and great group of coaches, while describing the IPL as the best franchise competition in the world.
