# Road running: Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture, Gayton McKenzie, says the Region 5 Marathon is not just about running, it’s about showing the world the strength, unity, and talent of Africa. Organised by the African Union Sports Council, the marathon is set to take place in Tshwane on Sunday. The main event is the 21.1-kilometre half-marathon, with the male and female winners walking away with 50-thousand-rand each.
