# The Afrika Mayibuye Movement says it stands in full solidarity with all faith leaders, congregations, and communities peacefully protesting in Pretoria today. The party says this is against the Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Rights Commission’s renewed efforts to regulate religion under the guise of accountability. Mayibuye’s Bafana Zondo says last week, the CRL’s chairperson, Thoko Mkhwanazi-Xaluva launched the Section 22 Committee to regulate religion. He says any attempt to regulate is an attack on the liberation of the African soul.
