# Cricket: The Proteas women’s team had the worst possible start to their World Cup campaign in India when they lost by ten wickets. England won the toss and sent the Proteas in to bat. South Africa’s top order collapsed and only Sinalo Jafta, who top-scored with 22 runs, reached double digits. England dismissed the Proteas women in the 21ste over for just 69 runs. Linsey Smith was the main destroyer, taking three wickets for just seven runs in four overs. South Africa face New Zealand on Monday.
