Madlanga commission to resume public hearings on 13 October

# The Madlanga judicial commission of inquiry into criminality, political interference and corruption in the criminal justice system will resume its public hearings on 13 October. Today’s proceedings were adjourned by Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga after crime intelligence head Dumisani Khumalo fell ill and could not continue his testimony. The commission’s spokesperson, Jeremy Michaels, says the inquiry will take a scheduled break next week as commissioner Sesi Baloyi attends to her duties at the Judicial Service Commission.
