# Former Correctional Services deputy minister, Thabang Makwetla, has been granted ten-thousand-rand bail following his appearance at the Palm Ridge Specialised Commercial Crimes Court in Gauteng. Makwetla faces charges of corruption and fraud linked to a 2015 home security upgrade funded by Bosasa, valued at approximately 350-thousand-rand. Investigating Directorate Against Corruption spokesperson Henry Mamothame says Makwetla’s case has been postponed to 4 November:
