# KwaZulu-Natal premier Thamsanqa Ntuli says he is concerned over the lack of climate change readiness across most municipalities in the province. A recent study by the University of the Witwatersrand details how rising global temperatures are altering weather patterns along South Africa’s eastern seaboard, particularly in KZN and the Eastern Cape, increasing the likelihood and severity of extreme weather events.
