# The Gauteng Housing Crisis Committee will be marching to Johannesburg mayor Dada Morero’s office today. They are demanding, amongst other things, clean water and an end to the water supply disruptions. The metro has been battling old infrastructure, leaks, and illegal connections, which have led to some communities having their water supply disrupted or receiving no water at all. Last Thursday, Morero promised residents that taps would be flowing again in seven days, after months of interruptions. However, there have been no improvements.
