# The South African Police Service says it continues to record commendable successes through nationwide Shanela operations. In the past week, 15-thousand-763 suspects were arrested for various offences, including two-thousand-133 wanted individuals who were tracked down in different parts of the country. Police spokesperson, Amanda van Wyk, says among those arrested are 265 suspects apprehended for rape, of which 92 were circulated as wanted. She says 41 of these suspects were apprehended in Gauteng:
