# The Nepali Army has accused protesters of taking advantage of the current crisis by damaging, looting, and setting fire to public and private property. The worst unrest in decades rocked the country this week, set off by a ban on social media and discontent at political corruption and nepotism. This led to prime minister KP Sharma Oli resigning. Protesters also set fire to the parliament building in Kathmandu. At least 22 people have died since the unrest began. The army says if the situation continues, it will take full control.
