# Five suspects were shot and killed in a shootout with police at Pump House informal settlement in Chatsworth, KwaZulu-Natal this morning. Acting on intelligence, police tracked the group wanted for murder, robberies, extortion, and illegal firearms in Mpumalanga township, Mariannhill, KwaNdengezi, and Umsunduzi. Police spokesperson Robert Netshiunda says various firearms were also recovered:
