# Health authorities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo have declared an outbreak of the Ebola virus in the Kasai Province. Twenty-eight suspected cases and 15 deaths, including four health workers, have been reported in Bulape and Mweka. The country’s last Ebola outbreak was in April 2022.
