# Soccer: Tottenham Hotspur’s executive chairman Daniel Levy has stepped down after nearly 25 years in the role. The 63-year-old, who is the Premier League’s longest-serving chairman, purchased a stake in Spurs from Alan Sugar in December 2000. During his tenure, Spurs won the League Cup and, most recently, the Europa League in May this year, to end the club’s 17-year wait for a trophy. Levy says he is incredibly proud of the work the executive team has done in building the club into a global heavyweight.
