# A suspected kidnapping kingpin was killed in a shootout with police and private security at the R21 in Kempton Park, Gauteng, last night. This follows the rescue of kidnapped Benoni businessman, Mohammed Bashir Ahmed Seedat. The 42-year-old was taken by gunmen from his business, Rynfield Drapers and Outfitters, on the 23rd of July, following a business robbery. Police spokesperson, Athlenda Mathe, says the kidnapping kingpin was also wanted in Mozambique:
