Giwusa condemns SASSA-Postbank split as an attack on the poor [SOUND]

# Union Giwusa has condemned the termination of the South African Social Security Agency service agreement with Postbank. They argue the move forces millions of social grant recipients to use private banks, generating profits for big banks while harming public services. The union demands the reversal of the decision. Giwusa president Mametlwe Sebei calls for the people’s bank to offer affordable banking, manage social grants and protect vulnerable citizens from exploitative banking practices:
