DIRCO warns of fake job scams targeting young South Africans

# The Department of International Relations and Cooperation has raised alarm over fake job scams luring vulnerable South Africans. Public diplomacy head Clayson Monyela warned that bogus offers, often promoted by influencers, could be linked to human trafficking. His remarks follow backlash against influencer and DJ Cyan Boujee for allegedly endorsing such opportunities. He urged young people, especially women, to avoid unverified foreign offers and verify through embassies or official channels before committing.
